Ucross Danny Displacements
These installations are inspired by Robert Smithson’s Mirror Displacements. I’ve swapped out the mirrors for cardboard cutouts of Danny Zuko, played by John Travolta, from the 1978 film Grease. They were installed and photographed at the Ucross Foundation, an artist residency and working cattle ranch on the High Plains of Wyoming.
These works were included in my solo exhibition Man on the Land at Well Well Projects in 2025.
