Pulplessly Devoted To You

Pulplessly Devoted To You is a music video reimagining a scene from the 1978 musical film Grease. In the original, Sandy, the female protagonist, sings a forlorn love song to Danny, the male protagonist, eventually wiping away his image after it appears to her in a kiddie pool.

In my version, an ambiguous Danny/Sandy hybrid forcibly dissolves a cardboard cutout of Danny into the same pool.

This piece was included in my solo exhibition Greased and is part of my larger investigation into flaccidity.
